Please Read Before Commissioning
All commissions begin with a quote request. A quote is not a binding agreement until both parties have confirmed the scope, price, and timeline in writing. Quotes are valid for 14 days from the date issued.
I reserve the right to decline any commission at my discretion, including but not limited to projects I don't feel confident executing to the required standard.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion, before models are shipped back to you.
Accepted payment methods:
Failure to pay the remaining balance within 14 days of completion notice may result in the models being held until payment is received. After 60 days, unclaimed models may be considered forfeited.
Estimated turnaround is 4–6 weeks from the date models are received, depending on queue length and project complexity. This is an estimate, not a guarantee. I'll always keep you updated if timelines shift.
Rush commissions may be available for an additional fee. Contact me before submitting a quote request to check availability.
Models must be fully assembled before shipping. Do not prime your models — priming is handled as part of the commission process.
Please clean all mould lines before sending. Excessive flash, mould lines, or poor assembly that affects the final result may incur additional charges or affect the quality of the finished piece.
I am not responsible for pre-existing damage, poor assembly, or manufacturing defects present when models arrive.
Shipping costs are the responsibility of the client in both directions. I strongly recommend sending models with tracked and insured postage. I am not liable for models lost or damaged in transit on the way to me.
Completed models are shipped in foam-lined packaging with tracked and insured postage. I photograph all models before they are packed and shipped. In the unlikely event of damage during return shipping, photographic evidence will be provided to support any insurance claim.
I share WIP photos throughout the process so we can catch any issues early. If the completed work does not match what was agreed in the original brief, I will make it right at no extra charge.
Change requests that fall outside the original agreed scope may incur additional fees. This will always be discussed and agreed before any extra work is carried out.
Refunds are not offered on completed work unless there is a clear and documented failure to deliver what was agreed.
If you need to cancel after work has begun, the 50% deposit is non-refundable. If significant work has been completed beyond the deposit value, an additional partial payment may be required before models are returned.
If I need to cancel a commission for any reason, a full refund of any payments made will be issued and models returned promptly.
I reserve the right to photograph completed commissions and use those images for portfolio, social media, and promotional purposes. If you'd prefer your commission not to be shared publicly, please let me know when submitting your quote request and I'll respect that.
All miniatures remain the intellectual property of their respective manufacturers. Commission painting services do not transfer any IP rights. I do not reproduce copyrighted sculptural work beyond the scope of painting models already owned by the client.
If you have a concern at any point, please reach out directly at undeadminiatures@gmail.com. I'd always rather resolve things directly and informally before anything else.
